I am fluent in several programming languages, including Python, C/C++, and JavaScript. I have experience in large-scale web design, specifically using the React.JS framework, and in back-end infrastructure work using Docker and Ansible to manage production servers.

Computer Science Teacher at LinDave Foundation

Summer 2014, Summer 2015

I ran a month-long summer class in introductory computer science for underpriveledged kids in Boyle Heights for two years. I taught how to program, as well as teaching the students how to express themselves through programming.

February 2015 - Present

I develop and host, a free service for web developers (including designers from Google). The service handles over 3 terabytes of data and over 500 million requests to my servers every month.


Scratch Development Project Assistant at MIT Media Lab

May 2016 - August 2016

As an intern in the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, I worked on updating the Scratch programming website to use modern web technologies (like React and Redux) and helped redesign much of the site to work on mobile devices and tablets. I also assisted the Scratch Community team with various online creative coding initiatives.

March 2017 - October 2017

I helped develop and maintain several different projects in the Web Team, including WebTCAD, a web-based application that allows scientists to easily check telemetry data for their missions. I primarily worked in the back-end, using tools like Splunk, Docker, and Ansible.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Technology, Arts, and Media. I expect to graduate in spring 2019. I have a 3.64 overall GPA, with a 3.75 GPA in Computer Science.
